West Virginia Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Inc.

Each spring, otolaryngologists-head and neck surgeons and other oncology professionals worldwide join together to recognize and take part in the Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week (OHANCAW). This encourages men and women, young and old, to attend free screenings to assess their oral health and take action if there are signs of cancer. We encourage our members to offer free oral screenings to the public by signing up.

The 30th annual meeting of the West Virginia Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Inc. will take place November 2-4, 2012, at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, WV.    Complete information on hotel reservations, conference information and exhibitor information will be available in early 2012.

In case you missed it, please click on the CME Conference tab for highlights of the 2011 meeting.

Our invited physician speakers enhanced our scientific program. Special activities were available for spouses, guests and children, and there was a social gathering Saturday evening. Tee times were reserved Saturday afternoon on one of The Greenbrier’s famous golf courses, but were snowed out!
