33rd Annual CME Conference - 2015

Dr. John House, of the House Clinic in Los Angeles, shared information on management of the mastoid cavity, cochlear implant development and techniques, the life and legacy of Howard House and tinnitus. His course scores ranged from 4.71 to 5.00!

Dr. Richard Waguespack, University of Alabama - Birmingham and past president of the AAO-HNS, shared information on the impact of the ACA on otolaryngology, what the Academy has done for you lately, CPT-ology and integrating new technology into clinical practice and hot topics in CPT coding and changes for 2016. His scores ranged from 4.67 to 4.92!

Our own Dr. Ronald Wilkinson of West Virginia University opened the 2015 CME Confeence with information on the unified airway and otolaryngology, followed by the pollen-food allergy syndrome and craniofacial pain unique to otolayngology before closing the conference with the evaluation of immunodeficiency in otolaryngology. His ratings ranged from 4.83 to 5.0!

WVU resident Dr. Eric Bailey gave a presentation on the rates of antibiotic use after pediatric tonsillectomy and the improvement in quality, receiving ratings on 4.77 to 4.85.

WVU resident Dr. Erik Interval share a case in Kinase 2 and oral squamous cell carcinoma in a mouse model, earning ratings of 4.85 to 5.0.

During a break in the conferene schedule, Joedy Daristotle visited with Stephen Wetmore and Mike Hurst.
